  • Local authorities recorded a seasonally adjusted operating surplus of $14.1 million in the September 2008 quarter.
  • Seasonally adjusted operating revenue increased 2.3 percent to $1,604.2 million in the September 2008 quarter.
  • Seasonally adjusted operating expenditure increased 2.0 percent to $1,590.1 million in the September 2008 quarter.
