Highlights

 
  • Crown Research Institute (CRI) surplus after taxation was $18.8 million in the year to 30 June 2006, up from $13.3 million in the previous June year.
  • Total operating expenditure rose by $36.8 million (6.9 percent) to reach $569.4 million, up from $532.6 million in the previous June year.
  • Government revenue received by CRIs increased by $12.4 million (4.6 percent) to $283.6 million.
  • Sales revenue received by CRIs increased by $3.9 million (1.5 percent) to $267.7 million.
  • Total assets held by CRIs at 30 June 2006 were $481.4 million, up $9.3 million (1.9 percent) from 30 June 2005.
