In November 2009 compared with October 2009:
- Food prices fell 0.3 percent.
- Fruit and vegetable prices fell 2.0 percent.
- Non-alcoholic beverage prices fell 0.8 percent.
- Grocery food prices fell 0.2 percent.
- Meat, poultry, and fish prices rose 0.1 percent.
- Restaurant meals and ready-to-eat food prices rose 0.6 percent.
From November 2008 to November 2009:
- Food prices increased 0.9 percent, the lowest annual rise since September 2005.
