In March 2010 compared with February 2010:
- Food prices rose 0.2 percent.
- Meat, poultry, and fish prices rose 1.3 percent.
- Restaurant meals and ready-to-eat food prices rose 0.3 percent.
- Grocery food prices rose 0.2 percent.
- Non-alcoholic beverage prices rose 0.5 percent.
- Fruit and vegetable prices fell 1.9 percent.
From March 2009 to March 2010:
- Food prices increased 0.3 percent, the lowest annual increase since the year to July 2004, when prices fell 0.1 percent.
