In March 2009 compared with February 2009:
- Food prices rose 0.5 percent.
- Meat, poultry and fish prices rose 1.4 percent.
- Fruit and vegetable prices rose 1.6 percent.
- Non-alcoholic beverages prices rose 0.8 percent.
- Restaurant meals and ready-to-eat food prices rose 0.2 percent.
- Grocery food prices fell 0.2 percent.
From March 2008 to March 2009: - Food prices increased 8.6 percent.
