In July 2009 compared with June 2009:
- Food prices rose 0.6 percent.
- Fruit and vegetable prices rose 3.1 percent driven by higher vegetable prices.
- Grocery food prices rose 0.5 percent.
- Restaurant meals and ready-to-eat food prices rose 0.3 percent.
- Non-alcoholic beverage prices rose 0.3 percent.
- Meat, poultry and fish prices fell 0.7 percent.
From July 2008 to July 2009:
- Food prices increased 8.4 percent.
